Pinewood Derby and First teeth
Josh had his Pinewood Derby last week. This is him and his friend Seth. They had a great time!
This is Josh's second attempt at a car this year. The first one broke and then we found out we were not suppose to use pre-cut cars, so this is what Josh came up with, or as close as we could come to what he wanted.
If you look close you can see Clark's first tooth. It finally broke through about a week ago, but it is just barely becoming visible. The one right next to it is trying really hard to break through.
Maybe you could see it in this one.
He was being so good while I was trying to take a picture of his tooth that I thought I should post this one too. He is a turning into a camera ham, just like his big brother. I can't believe he looks so happy. The poor kid has a nasty runny nose and cough, but he is still smiling for the camera.
Clark is starting to move more. He is not yet crawling, but he is getting up on all fours and on the kitchen floor he pushes himself around. He was about 3 feet from the dishwasher when I put him down, but he somehow ended up right next to it. He loves playing with the dishwasher.Andrew has been reading the Harry Potter series. We read the first one in 4 days and the second one is 5 days. That's pretty impressive for a 6 year old, 1st grader. It's so nice that he found something he really enjoys reading. He is currently reading #3. We won't let him read past this one until he is older, I wonder what he is going to read next.Ty is now sleeping in the same room with Josh and Andrew. He loves it. He also loves playing with the electric train. He always wants to do what his brothers are doing, so he sits down at the piano and plays and sings and tries to play video games and anything else his brothers are doing.
Marcus has been reading Harry Potter book 5 for a while. He picks it up and puts it down. It is so long he gets bored. (We won't let him read book 7, yet.) I am amazed at Andrew! Good job. Marcus's pinewood derby isn't until April.
