Lego Birthday!

Happy Birthday Andrew!!! Andrew is six years old! I can't believe it. He is sure that he had growing pains the night before his birthday because he was going to wake up bigger. Andrew wanted a Lego party. We did the best we could. Here he is with one of his creations from our timed building game.
I know there are more than 6 candles on top, but we just had to try the squiggly ones, and the sparkler ones, and of course the #6.
Andrew really wanted a Lego cake. This is the best I could come up with. Josh told me it "looked so good"! I thought he was complimenting my handy work. Come to find out he just thought it looked good to eat. Oh well, Andrew was very pleased with the look and the taste. Happy Birthday Andrew! We love you!!

What we've been up to

Josh and Andrew got Ice Cream Sundae's for having good grades. We let them pick out just about anything they wanted to put on them. They both had a lot of fun picking everything out and making them. Too bad the stomach flu hit our house later that night. No one wanted an ice cream sundae for a long time.
Andrew learned all about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln for President's Day. It was fun to hear all the facts he learned. This is his Washington hat.
Meet the newest members of our family. Crock (like Killer Crock from spider man) and Zammer. Two little fish one red and one orange. Curtis decided he would like a pet and this was all I would agree on for now. The boys are excited to be able to finally add more fish in a week. We have all had fun watching them and learning about how to take care of fish.
One Saturday morning the boys decided to get out the dress up stuff and this is how we found Josh. He is a pirate, storm trooper, and Darth Vader. The eye patch on the Vader mask is my favorite part.
Andrew was unwilling to share the Darth Maul outfit with Josh or that would have been added too. Ty wanted to join in the fun, but we had to hold him down to get a picture with anything on.This is what happens when you leave Ty with Grandma on Sunday morning to get ready for church. Can you see the make up on his cheek? He did that all by himself while grandma and grandpa sat and watched. He was pretty pleased with himself and very sad when the make-up was taken away.
Tyson is still enjoying cars and trains. This is a favorite position of his right now. He simply lays on the the floor and drives his cars back and forth.
